the ada enup way

This is our full publishing service. It's a painstaking process that produces a book that has a format perfectly suited to its contents. Our artists design all the little intricacies in terms of titles, headers, quotes, tabs, fonts, layout and format. We partner perfectionist editors with the author to ensure that text is combed for accuracy, structure and flow. We will also suggest book marketing techniques that can be added to the cover and inside the book.

Along the way, we will require:
* Honesty, efficiency (deadlines met) and communication;
* A publishing contract, if we think your book has a sufficient market and we love your book (fewer than 3% of submissions meet our criteria);
* A photograph of yourself;
* A biography in Word;
* The final book text in Word;
* That the text is in chapters with a table of contents; and
* Editing and proofing with our editors, which is compulsory.

ada enup will:
* Be honest, be efficient (deadlines met) and communicate (if things are or are not flowing smoothly);
* Work with you phase by phase through the publishing process;
* Have a dialogue with you regarding your book's size, format and layout;
* Accommodate the text to the design;
* Generate an ISBN;
* Draw up a copyright page;
* Design the 'About the Author' text to the most appropriate space in or on the book;
* Create an index if necessary;
* Organise for your book to be printed.

We will publish the book under our good name.

The cost for this is R27 000.00.

This cost excludes:

* Printing, which will be quoted nearer to printing time because of: Fluctuating prices, the author's choice of printing type, the author's choice of cover and the author's preferred print-run quantity.

There are extra charges for the following:

* Editing and proofing. This is compulsory and is charged at R30.00 per A5 page, R40 per US A5 page and R60 per A4 page.
* Any further artist work that the author has not provided but requires will be charged at the artist's rate.

Once your books are delivered to you, ada enup will further provide the following:

* Marketing suggestions;
* All the information you need to distribute your book throughout South Africa in the way that gives you the most coverage, the most control and the least expense;
* All the information you need to distribute your book on Amazon.com without having to go through an expensive overseas print-on-demand service, at the least expense and with the most control;
